We’re recruiting for an Automation Engineer to support and improve automated manufacturing equipment within a fast-paced production environment. The role will involve PLC programming and modifications, fault finding, and driving continuous improvements to maximise machinery performance and output.
Programming and modifying PLCs, with Siemens TIA Portal being the key platform.
Supporting automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Troubleshooting and resolving automation and control system issues.
Working closely with engineering and production teams to improve machine reliability and efficiency.
Assisting with the development and implementation of new automation solutions.
Experience as an Automation, Controls or PLC Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal.
Experience programming and modifying PLCs.
A proactive approach to fault finding and continuous improvement.
FMCG or other fast-paced manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
