Are you an Automation Engineer with experience using Siemens TIA Portal? Looking to join a well-established FMCG manufacturer that invests in its people and offers genuine career progression?

We’re recruiting for an Automation Engineer to support and improve automated manufacturing equipment within a fast-paced production environment. The role will involve PLC programming and modifications, fault finding, and driving continuous improvements to maximise machinery performance and output.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Programming and modifying PLCs, with Siemens TIA Portal being the key platform.

  • Supporting automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving automation and control system issues.

  • Working closely with engineering and production teams to improve machine reliability and efficiency.

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of new automation solutions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience as an Automation, Controls or PLC Engineer within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal.

  • Experience programming and modifying PLCs.

  • A proactive approach to fault finding and continuous improvement.

  • FMCG or other fast-paced manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
