Ready to turn up the tempo on operational excellence?

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading, multi-site manufacturing organisation in the West Midlands. As Continuous Improvement Manager, you’ll shape and lead the UK CI & Process Engineering strategy, delivering measurable wins in cost, productivity, quality, and service. You’ll orchestrate change across multiple sites, harmonising processes, building capability, and ensuring every part of the operation is performing at its very best.

You’ll champion Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, sponsor high-impact improvement initiatives, and lead smart capital investments that future-proof manufacturing systems and technology.

This is strategic.
This is hands-on.
This is transformational.

What You’ll Be Driving

  • Developing annual CI plans and delivering tangible savings targets
  • Facilitating Lean and Six Sigma initiatives that make a real difference
  • Building and coaching a network of Lean champions across operations
  • Standardising CI toolkits, processes, and training frameworks
  • Spearheading structured CapEx and technology optimisation programmes
  • Engaging suppliers and customers to unlock smarter, leaner value streams
  • Reporting performance metrics to regional and global stakeholders
  • Acting as a visible, credible change leader across strategic projects
  • Elevating CI capability across UK sites and wider operations

What You Bring to the Stage

  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in manufacturing, operations or business
  • 5+ years in Lean and/or Process Engineering across multi-site or regional environments.
  • Deep expertise in Lean tools (Six Sigma Black Belt highly desirable)
  • Strong commercial acumen with analytical, data-driven decision-making skills
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, MES and MS Office systems
  • A confident leader who motivates, influences and inspires at all levels
  • A proven change agent who thrives in fast-paced, matrix environments
  • The ability to juggle priorities, solve complex problems and deliver results

Why This Role?

  • Senior leadership exposure and real strategic influence
  • Opportunity to shape CI across UK and wider operations
  • A business that values innovation, structured improvement, and bold thinking
  • Strong package with performance reward
  • Genuine scope to leave your mark and make an impact

This is a confidential appointment with significant growth plans on the horizon. It’s a role for someone who wants more than maintenance — someone who wants momentum.
