Overview for the Group Financial Accountant Role:

A growing FMCG business is looking for a sharp and experienced Group Financial Accountant. You’ll be the person who keeps the numbers honest, the auditors happy, and the leadership team informed. If you like accuracy, clarity, and structured reporting this is the Group Financial Accountant position for you.

Responsibilities for the Group Financial Accountant role:

• Produce accurate group financial statements and ensure compliance with UK GAAP.
• Lead the annual audit process and manage all auditor interactions.
• Handle intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting.
• Provide financial insights, analysis, and forecasts to support decision-making.
• Analyse company financial performance and make recommendations and plans for the future.

Requirements for the Group Financial Accountant role:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
• Solid experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or audit.
• Strong grasp of UK GAAP and high attention to detail.
• Confident communicator, comfortable working across multiple stakeholders.
