About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Slough. This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanically and electrically competent engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment and is eager to develop their career within a growing team. The role has arisen due to internal promotion, highlighting the real progression opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on machinery and systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Work collaboratively within a small, skilled team of 3 engineers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise uptime and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance engineer within manufacturing, preferably FMCG.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Experience with pneumatics and ability to read electrical drawings – MUST HAVE
  • Self-motivated, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • MUST Have engineering qualifications
