We’re recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team at a busy production site in Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established international business with multiple UK locations and genuine opportunities to progress your career.

The Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for keeping fast-paced production machinery running efficiently through reactive and planned maintenance.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Fault finding and repairs on production and packaging machinery
  • Electrical fault finding, including checking inputs/outputs on PLC systems
  • Planned preventative maintenance across site equipment
  • Continuous improvement and reliability projects
  • Supporting production to minimise downtime and maximise output

What We’re Looking For:

  • Multi-skilled engineer (electrical or mechanical bias welcomed)
  • Comfortable fault finding electrically in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience checking PLC inputs/outputs and diagnosing faults
  • Previous experience in FMCG, food, packaging, or fast-paced manufacturing ideal
  • Proactive attitude with a strong team ethic
